Fairway Pigment and Tee Overseed

A couple new practices that have been implemented this year are fairway pigment and overseeded tee boxes.  The first application of fairway pigment was applied this week.  It gives the course some nice definition going into winter.  We will apply 3 more application in November, December, and January.

Also, all tee boxes including the driving range tees were overseeded with winter ryegrass last week.  The seed will take 4-6 weeks to establish.  Members will notice that the tee box areas are wetter than normal because of the extra water that is being applied to help germinate the seed.  The driving range will be mats only until the seed is established.
