Over the last week Timarron has received 10 inches of rain and a lot of destruction has occurred. We've brought in extra contract labor/contractors to help expediate this process. Here is our plan of attack to get the course back to normal playing conditions. We expect the cleanup and repair process to take around 3 weeks.
STEP 1...Clean up all silt and debris. Shovels and hoses are the only way to get everything clean. The driving range has the most silt and can be expected to open November 2nd or 3rd.
STEP 2...Clean out bunkers and add sand. The picture shows the first of 15 loads of bunker sand being delivered. We expect the bunkers to take approximately 2-3 weeks to repair.
STEP 3...Miscellaneous repairs. We have a contractor looking at #9 bridge creek wall and have many other drainage repairs to make.
